all my mascaras that I've stored up!

all my mascaras that I've stored up!

Let’s see… how many bottles of mascara and eyeliner do I have? Have I used in my life?? Probably a whole lot.  One part I do like about not every having to use eye makeup products is that I’m not throwing away tons of plastic little bottles.  I don’t know when exactly I “became” green but I think it was when I realized how much people LITTER!

Have you ever seen anything as ridiculous as someone slowly stopping on a sidewalk and then put a soda can on the ground and continue walking? Or a biker eating McDonalds and then throwing away the bag, the wrapper and napkin as he’s eating and biking? Or how about a nice BMW stopped at a signal, open their car door to put down a fountain soda on the ground, and then take off?  These are all adults by the way… stop littering you people! ;)

ANYWAYS!  I really do believe that “every little bit counts.”  In the end, those small things add up to a lot.  J and I are always trying to be green in some small way or another.

I know is that MAC recycles and rewards their customers when they bring in 5 empty containers of MAC products. *Good job MAC!

Does anyone know if we can recycle our used makeup containers?

    Remembering September 11th.

It still gives me chills remembering back to the very day that it happened. Many emotions running through my heart that words cannot put together. Not fully realizing if its real or not.

It’s been 8 years and the effect of whats happened is still freshly engraved in my mind, this mere mind of mine that will never comprehend the evil behind this act.

My  heart goes out to the families that have been directly effected by 9/11 and today, you are in my prayers.

    humbly yours, J

How old do I look? ;)

I know a common problem for us Asian people is getting mistaken for a kid.  My cousin went to the dentist and was asked where her guardian was, and she was 29 years old!  J & I always get commented about how young we look when we meet brides.  I also get it a lot at work—but of course I’m sure that working at Crumbs with an apron and bandana doesn’t help.  But I get tired of  hearing those comments of “Oh this was way before you were born!” (when I know exactly what they’re talking about) or “what are you studying?”

I hate that my nose always is the first to go. It will start swelling with sweat the minute I leave a nice cool environment.

and I’m left with the inevitable ……

I love this! I basically went to yoga today for the first time in a long time just because I had been eating too many cookies & cupcakes.  Just thought I’d share =)

Sometimes, I love meeting certain brides!  I meet them and instantly I want to be their friend. HAHA. That’s how it was with Miss J!  We laughed because she was going to a BBQ after her trial, and she looked really fancy.

    Some shots of the trial!
