Who else caught the Oscars?? Anyone else disappointed with the looks? I’m not sure if it’s my HD TV or the new age camera settings, but everyone’s makeup looked SUPER caked on and “age-y” (with big under eye circles, wrinkles, etc.) But SCARLETT JOHANSSON looked amazing!

My head is definitely all about my wedding right now. But still. I seriously forgot that Halloween is right around the corner. I was reminded by the Halloween episode of MODERN FAMILY this week.

I have officially retired my getting dressed up for halloween with plans to stay in and catch up on some OUTSOURCED. (Anyone else a super fan of Outsourced?)

ANYhoooo! Here’s a really pretty Halloween inspired MEDUSA makeup. SO PRETTY!

Some people have a lot of extra skin above their eyes, so they usually put mountains of eyeliner on top so that it’ll show when you open your eyes. I know some friends that do this and they complain that this is the ONLY way to work an eyeliner with their eyes. It doesn’t matter that you know how to draw a perfect thin even line on each eye… that’s not what they’re looking for!

One of the bridesmaids not only had this problem, but she had very crooked eyes. So she told me that she’d like the eyeliner to be VERY thick AND uneven so that when she opens her eyes, it would look normal:
