Now that I am a “financially responsible” wife, I am trying my hardest to “pamper” myself to the max. at min. costs. My poor feet have been neglected for so long but I’d rather spend $45 on feeding my hubby than having a professional rub/scrub my scruffy feet!

My new years resolution: continue my Ole Henriksen routine (that takes a good 15 minutes) EVERY NIGHT. No matter what!

I don’t mind at all spending all my money on facial/hair products. I care wayyy more about that kind of stuff than clothes! I feel like clothes just end up being junk, but you really need to take care of your hair & skin. Those 2 things are huge things that make us attractive and different from men, right?
So I gu-ess I didn’t mind TOO much spending my Christmas moolah on these items yesterday:

Just because it’s cold and you’re bundled up in clothes doesn’t mean you can forget about your daily maintenence! When your face feels cold and all your makeup is gone… that’s a bad sign. That means all your makeup was sucked into your pores because your skin is saying “I’m…so…thirsty….even this makeup’s moisture will do.”
That’s how my face has been feeling the past couple days! Eek. My moisturizer cream jar is empty and I haven’t been able to get myself to Sephora. FINALLY I went yesterday and picked up these:

my gosh. My bad!
The holidays were so CRAZY this year with all the family coming in + snow that I totally lagged on doing a post! So this one doesn’t count. But can I just say that this was my excuse? 
This was taken right outside my door. In fact, my door could barely open because of the snow! I saw a few facebook statuses saying that they saw people SKIING around! It was crazy outside, so we stayed in & snuggled in the couch with a soft quilt. Warm kitty + cooking + HIMYM dvds = awesome. Also, my sister was in town and she brought the Wii so we could Netflix instant stream.. AND we freaking played games like nerds all night on her ipad and laptop. (Diner Dash anyone?)
Okay this just meant to be a quick post. More beauty related posts later, I promise!! ahhh

This is kinda random, but I recently saw Penn Badgely (Dan Humphrey from Gossip Girl) at the Foundry coffee shop in the West Village! He was sitting right in front of the hubs, who was performing an acoustic set.
It was pretty funny because the hubs watches Gossip Girl with me and totally knew that he was going to perform right in front of him! If you don’t know who this guy is, here’s a picture:

Yeesh! And just when you think there was enough junky TV shows on… they create another guilty pleasure show, called Bridalplasty. 12 women compete in this show for their surgery wishlist! The winner gets to have the plastic surgery of her choice and the groom doesn’t get to see her until the wedding day. Crazy huh??
