Working with other women has made realize many things as a female. As we all get older, we start to get really particular about things. This is all the more reason why I believe there is no “one answer” to doing anything beauty related. We all have our ideas of what is beautiful about our faces, bodies and etc.

For example, a long time ago I worked for this Korean company and my boss was this really gorgeous woman in her 30’s. But she always had her eyeliner drawn very long at the end. It was to the point where she looked like a cat because her eyeliner went way beyond the ends of her eyes, like about 2 inches? I thought it was SO WEIRD because she’s so pretty and that was the ONLY makeup she ever put on everyday. I kept thinking that she would look so much better if she didn’t wear anything at all, and how weird it was that she did that purposefully! But I guess she thought it looked good on her!

Yesterday, a woman from my work spent a really long time arranging a bouquet for the front desk. She was spending a lot of time, cutting and snipping here & there to assemble this:

I’ve been on birth control for 5 years… not only to prevent pregnancy but also because I have the craziest PMS symptoms and irregular periods. Once a month I can be found sprawled on the bathroom floor (ANY bathroom floor) dry heaving, having the worst cramps and wanting to diarrhea all at once. Sexy huh? :)

So I decided to go on Yaz!

    H20 Snob

by Carol, posted in Health, Self

My friend and I consider ourselves Water Snobs! Are you?

Luckily, I LOVE drinking water and drink abotu 3 cups as soon as I wake up. Living in NYC and walking around makes me even thirstier! It sucks because I have a small bladder and almost always have to wake up to pee in the middle of the night. But hey — drinking tons of water is great for your skin & health, so it’s totally worth it!

These are my favorite types of water:

A while ago, DOVE released this video.

There’s no denying myself when I say I don’t feel better about how I look when I stick on a few pairs of false eye lashes on.

It’s pretty insane what photoshop can do.

(Sorry! This post has no pictures.)

Remember WAY back when, when we used to pour our hearts out to a brilliant blog site called XANGA? WOW, I was such a child!! I still crack up with embarrassment when I read back on the entries. Here is an exerpt.

so now, i’ve been single for about 3 ~ 4 months now and for the 1st time i’m feeling like DAMN i wish i had someone… esp for the holidays…

so i am asking my subcribers for help:

    HE MUST BE:

    #1: CHRISTIAN (not negotiable)

#2: tall … so in scary situations, i know he can protect me.

#3: much more successful that I am. i know i’m a career driven, ambitious, independant, woman… but i still believe that the man should wear the pants in the relationship. and from past experiences with dating losers… i’ve come to realize that being more successful than my man has been a HUGE issue.

#4: i don’t want to be taken control over but led. i want to learn from him and vice versa..

    #5: humorous

#6: sociable (learned to NEVER date a guy that my girls don’t approve) someone who knows how to start the conversation. a man who is assertive and knows how to keep his cool in front of others.

#7: must come from a well – rounded family. (trust me girls, this seriously determines a lot of things about your future.) must be family oriented

#8: must be able to get along with my family. and be a role model for my soo bak, susan, & a HYUNG for steve … He must be a brother to these 3 kids, who they can confide in when they need to talk or to play basketball with when they’re bored, or just to hang out with even when i’m not around.

#9: it doesn’t matter what nationality but MUST NOT be a F O B… NEVER again will i date a FOB… a hint of FOB is ok. . . not a SPLASH . . .it’s too huge of a cultural shock for me… the guy must lived in the US for at least 15 years. OOO & Must have a citizenship. greencard is negotiable.

#10:  love me for who i am. & not try to change me into who they want me to become.

~ now is that too much to ask for ~ so for now this is my prayer request. thanx for your time in reading through all this.

Speaking of chopping it all off … I am currently growing out my leg hairs because I bought a GROUPON deal for laser hair removal. (I’m too lazy to be hairy!) Also, I was never properly taught how to shave my legs so I ALWAYS nick myself. So everytime I grab my razor & shaving cream, my mental status immediately goes to FEAR! WARNING! YOU MIGHT CUT YOURSELF!

I wish I had YOUTUBE tutorials growing up …

What is your favorite shaving tool?
