Yes… it’s true. I thought I could be nicely tanned all year long, but after 3 attempts I realized that I’m allergic. How did I come to this conclusion? Well the rashes started after Attempt #2. I thought it was either the lotion, or maybe the bed itself. But then I went to a standing tanning bed where I didn’t touch a THING, and used extra sensitive soy lotion and STILL broke out. According to some articles, you can be allergic to the ultraviolet lights.

Continued experience of Brazil Bronze airbrush tanning…
Okay, so here I am on Day 3/4. I was still pretty tan, I would say that the tan completely wore out after exactly 1 week. However, since I’m touching, washing and makeup-ing my face more often, the tan wore out on my face after about Day 4. The rest of my body was still pretty tan.

Continued post of my Brazil Bronze airbrush tanning experience…
Here are some pictures of me right after I got sprayed. I told them to spray me a little bit more than what they would recommend a bride to get before a wedding. I LOVED the way it looked — very dewy and golden. It looks a little bit more orangey here, but it wasn’t that orange in person. Please don’t mind the shiny face, I couldn’t wear any makeup!

I had my first experience with airbrush tanning last week. Oh glory. I forgot what it felt like to be TAN again! I didn’t look sickly and pale like all the other New Yorkers. Great things about the tan: it doesn’t smell, it’s not orangey like mystic tanning and the streaking seems very mild. I’ve gotten to be so pale, I was really hoping that this would be a great experience at Brazil Bronze in Soho!
