This was my 3rd time trying out eyelash extensions. I decided to try out a different vendor to see how different people may do this procedure. Eyelash NY = Megan who lives in the financial district of New York. She was very sweet and answered all my annoying questions!
Some differences of Eyelash NY compared to Wink Eyelash:
- they use fake hair instead of silk
- they use their own special glue instead of suture glue (created by a woman in LA)
- will last about 4 weeks as compared to 2 weeks

I got my hair “painted” with the Balayage technique at the Roy Teeluck Salon. I figured that I needed to treat myself to one nice, expensive salon because of my past bad experiences. If you mention Yelp, you get 20% off your entire service!
Since I was a full paying customer, I asked for a cappuccino and finished my Catcher in the Rye.

I passed by Blow NY randomly in the street and I wondered to myself if this blowdry bar idea would work! This would be a great place for people looking for a styled blow dry look before an event. (Weddings, girls’ night out, etc.)

I got one of the best facials of my life from Haven Spa. I first found this spa on Yelp, of course, and liked how they were able to squeeze me in right away!

I found another $25 haircut post on Craigslist and decided to go ahead and take the plunge on my birthday. The beautiful salon is located on 21st and 5th Ave.

I chopped off about 6 inches off my hair on my birthday. I was hating my hairstyle and couldn’t stand my terrible cut that I had gotten awhile ago at Alfangi Salon in NY. Can you believe that a bad haircut would last that long? It kept growing out to be weirder & weirder!

Growing up, my parents never introduced me to any sports. I was always the geeky Asian kid who played 2 instruments and went to KUMON after school.
So my hand / eye coordination SUCKS! I’m not particularly good at any sports (besides bowling where I’m currently averaging about 150 .. but that’s if bowling counts as a real sport xP).
This is why I love work outs where you have to use your core and find your inner balance to strengthen your body.
