Drugstore Thursdays – L’Oreal HIP Kohl Eyeliner

I’m always on the look out for an eyeliner that I can wear along my waterline & tightline (the fleshy part along your lash line) that doesn’t smudge. Especially because I have oily eyelids and super teary eyes. So far no name brand eyeliners (in all forms: pencil, liquid, gel) have been up to the task.

GASP – a drugstore brand!

Honestly, I have a love/hate thing about buying drugstore brands. These days, drugstore brands are barely a dollar or 2 in price difference VS name brand makeup (ie: MAC, MakeupForever) that I just don’t see why I would bother getting the DSB.

I take pride in my kit being stuffed with name brand. It’s only fair that my brides get the top notch service!! <3

But there is ONE item in my kit that is a DSB.

I bought it at CVS when they had a BOGO. I would never buy DSB for $10 when you can get the MAC PLUSH LASH MASCARA for $13.

- leaves your lashes feeling soft & not stiff
- not much volume or length but coats evenly. So it’s buildable.
- does not smudge onto skin.
