C’s experience with Fashion Week 2010

I’ve sat through fashions shows in the past, but I never got to be a part of it like this past Friday’s fashion show at Hiro. So it was a pretty exciting first time experience for me!

Right off the bat, I do not think I’ll be doing fashion shows anymore. Yes, it’s a thrilling experience and so fun to talk about with other people — but overall, I’ve decided that I would try to stick to fashion photoshoots and bridal. Why? Well, when I came through the door to get set up, the room was completely full. Full of clothes, people, heat and most of all full of TENSION! My gosh, the world of fashion is extremely competitive (well duh) so it was very intimidating coming in without knowing a single thing!

My culture

Yug & I plan to host a very American styled wedding. The food, the venue, my dress will all be very traditional American. Everyone has been asking me whether I will add our culture to the day. For a while, I just couldn’t fathom the thought of having to pay for ONE more thing. So my answer was NO. (The traditional Korean ceremony (PAE BAEK) can run anywhere from $1500 to $3000).

Also, if I paid my hard earned money to buy a traditional WHITE DRESS. I want to stay in the white dress for as long as I can. Besides, I really didn’t want to waste any time going back & forth for wardrobe change.

Also ….. while the traditional Korean dress is elegant and beautiful. It’s not the most flattering shape.

HAN BOK does not look good on a girl who’s got 36C boobs

Can I take a mini break from BEAUTY to take a quick vote?

Is it a wedding FAUX PAS to wear this dress to my friend’s wedding this month? Too much white?

I was planning on wearing these shoes with this dress.

Personally, I don’t think I would mind if my girlfriend wore this dress to my wedding. But then again, am I being biased cuz this is my dress? xP

BRA – llelujah ~~

Since I got boobs, I always avoided buying bras that look like the BRA-LLELUJAH! Something about pretty underwear (even if it’s only for my eyes) makes me feel more confident. Anyone else feel this way?

Do you know your bra size?

For the longest time, I didn’t know how to buy a bra or what size I was. I bought what was pretty with lace or my favorite color. This method of buying a bra often caused the not so lovely bra bulge or spillage.
