Something about vineyard weddings warm my heart! Especially since this one was so close to my heart. From beginning to end, from the weather to the food, I kept wondering, WILL ANYTHING GO WRONG AT ALL TODAY? June was flooded with ugly weather! But the rain & mug totally avoided Amy’s perfect day and this is what she got!

It truly is such a small world. When I first met Miss C, we stood there thinking “hmm… I KNOW you from somewhere!” Of course, all SoCal Korean people know each other somehow. Turns out that we met sometime in high school at a dance! And here we are, meeting more than 10 years later in New York! 
Since Miss C’s makeup was already done, she really wanted to do something funky and cool with her hair style, yet have it classic and stylish. She definitely wanted the “poof” on top yet have it be more interesting than boring. (All photography done by JenHuang) Here’s what I came up with:

Miss I took her engagement pictures awhile back on probably one of the windiest days of the year! I had to spray and tease a lot to make sure the hair would stay. She said everything lasted, thank goodness! Here are some adorable pictures from her shoot.

Wow. With ten thousand gazillion trillion eyes on Kate Middleton, she looked extremely calm! The best thing I’ve heard about the wedding is that Kate did her own makeup. Whaaaaaat. AWESOME. What a badass bride for a legit princess! Supposedly she got makeup lessons but felt more comfortable doing it herself.
J and I can feel her on this. You want to look like yourself on your wedding day, and who knows your face better than yourself? She looked so elegant, regal, and so naturally beautiful!
Are we all swooning at this fairy tale right now? Can’t you just imagine Lady Di smiling from above, that her son chose another “regular” as his bride? SIGH.

Althea’s wedding morning was no different than all my other brides. With the hustle and bustle of the day thick in the air, I prepped myself with a big smile and super charged energy! There were many surprises that morning!!!
Althea hired me as the makeup artist of the day and another stylist to do everyone’s hair. But the one thing that all brides fear happened to her. Her hair stylist didn’t show….but SURPRISE! I can also do hair!! So bridal meltdown avoided!!

We love our brides! We love all of our brides! In fact, we end up being friends with lots of our brides. But the sad part about being in the “wedding” industry is that you don’t really have “repeat” customers. (FINGERS CROSSED!! KNOCK ON WOOD! We hope not to get repeat customers!!!! Especially, if they are a bride AGAIN!)
Mrs. SC has definitely become one of my good friends AND a repeat customer (in the good way)! Not only does she loyally come to me EVERY time she has an event to get dolled up for but she feeds me!
