We had a fantastic time doing Miss Mrs. J’s wedding at the beginning of this year!  She was a great example of a REAL winter wedding in New York. All of the holiday cheer and decorations were still fresh in the air.

I was walking down the street and lo & behold, what do I see? A whole display of the Beauty Blenders sponges!

These babies used to only be sold at Sephora online, but I suppose the demand of its consumers really pushed for more reasonable sources.

Goodbye 2009 and hello to 2010 and our new vamped up website! Isn’t it beauuutiful?!?! =)

Thanks to Mrs. J for her web designing skillzzzzz! (AKA Mrs. Peony from Weddingbee and AKA Geek in Heels)

Let us leave behind our past grievances, bad trends, allergic reactions to new products and terrible makeovers from mean counter people…

And may 2010 be filled with beautiful skin, white teeth, great haircuts and getting free shipping for online products!

Enjoy your New Years Day with family, friends and loved ones!

All throughout my jr high years, I’ve hated my nose. It was so big & round and didn’t match my face.  However, during college I had an epiphany… my nose is the #1 thing that makes me look like my dad.   People would always say “you look like your dad because of your nose.” And I love my dad!  I realized that I want to look like him, even though he gave me his huge nose, double chin and his stubby legs.  Of course I’m always asking God why I didn’t get my mom’s beautiful, slim, straight nose (with a bridge!!! what the!!) I’m proud of my dad and looking like him.

I would feel very sad if I ever changed my nose, and I wonder if my dad would be sad.  I get really angry whenever I hear about parents yelling at you to get plastic surgery… we’re 50% mom and 50% dad.  That’s what we’re supposed to look like!

Of all the beautiful noses I’ve seen, (and trust me, I’ve seen some amazing Nicole Kidman noses) I still choose my dad’s nose. Be proud of what your mama (or papa) gave you, girls! I think once you become happy with what you have and you’re able to just accept yourself, your confidence shows. You always are your worst critic!

Hello world!! We are finally here… JAC Beauty is official, alive, and kicking and screaming with the rest of the economy. But you know what? It’s going to be OK. Life goes on and we still got our health, our families, our lives.

So, cutting to the chase, who are we?  JAC stands for our names, which right now we’ll just say “J” and “C.”

    What is our purpose?

We are a home for the clueless, the beauty experts, the tom boys, the Asian Americans who didn’t get the “double eyelid” surgery like your mom told you to, the busy bodies who don’t have time to shop around for the latest products, the impatient ones who can firmly say “i hate makeup” and the curious ones who pretend to know what women are talking about when it comes to the newest facial product… we know exactly how you feel!

With that being said, prepare for daily blogs and posts about anything and everything regarding to makeup, hair, skincare, and even the love handles that we hate. (Why do we call them love handles again?)

    Love ya,
    J and C
