Looking back now (as I write this), I realize I never really had a huge interest (in terms of career) in anything as much I am passionate about beauty. I had the opportunity to work at SHISEIDO for about 2 years. It was there, I learned the importance of skin care and how beautiful makeup is. My obsession has brought me to JAC Beauty and I look forward to sharing and learning beauty (not only makeup but everything BEAUTY) secrets. I enjoy sitting at the $5 nail salon with my girlfriends talking about how much they suck compared to the 5th AVE high end spas only to revert back to them a week later. Though I am a believer of “you get what you pay for”, I’m a bigger believer in getting bargain deals. Which I learn at high costs of damaged hair, break outs, uneven eyebrows etc. etc. {that, I will share in our blogs} I’m always looking for ways to cut corners at high end quality finishes & I promise to you, JAC Beauty readers that I will share with you all my coupons and bargain shopping secrets! I LOVE LOVE LOVE my dog (Loki), fishing, bowling, silly movies, spending time with my girl friends, o! & my fiance who I refer to as Yug (He may come up time to time in a post or two). I love musicals, coffee, cats, and everything about photography and weddings. Hair and makeup is something that has always been big part of my life. I’ve been dyeing, perming, streaking, “sun-inning” and flat ironing my hair since the 6th grade! I’ve even had my eyelashes permed and my moles frozen off as a child! (Thanks mom). I always did people’s hair and makeup for prom and special occasions. Not that I really think of myself as an expert when it comes to these types of things, but I love talking about the latest products, getting facials, complaining about ingrown hairs and etc. I love all the connections that JAC Beauty comes with, especially the making of new friends! People should know that we may be just as lost as you are when it comes to confusing skincare terminology and the endless efforts of perfecting your eyebrows.
