Just because it’s cold and you’re bundled up in clothes doesn’t mean you can forget about your daily maintenence! When your face feels cold and all your makeup is gone… that’s a bad sign. That means all your makeup was sucked into your pores because your skin is saying “I’m…so…thirsty….even this makeup’s moisture will do.”

That’s how my face has been feeling the past couple days! Eek. My moisturizer cream jar is empty and I haven’t been able to get myself to Sephora. FINALLY I went yesterday and picked up these:

Kinerase: I was in desperate need for a new eye cream and I’ve heard all sorts of wonderful things about this Kinerase brand. Yes, it’s pretty expensive for something you put all over your eyes. However, it’s worth it!! Remember to put eye cream ALL OVER your eye area. Some people only put eye cream under their eyes but you need to put it on the corners (crow’s feet!) and also on top (sagging!).

Caudalie: At first I thought the Caudalie moisturizer was pretty inexpensive, but I realized how TEENY the bottle was and realized that it’s pretty expensive! But what I liked about the moisturizer is that it glides on and feels like it replenishes your skin instantly. I did feel however, that you had to put on a LOT. I applied the lotion, but felt my skin a few minutes later and didn’t feel like it was enough. Feeling my skin right now after I’ve been outside, it doesn’t feel dewy or moist at ALL so I’m not sure if I’ll stick with this one. I would say it’s great for sensitive skin because it does feel very light and effective.
