I tried Bikram once in the city and it was one of the most miserable yoga experiences to date. The stench, the heat, the stench was horrible! I was light headed, dizzy, nauseous. My toes & fingers were tingling.
But with 2 months till my wedding, I decided to give it another go. So I signed up for HOT YOGA PARADISE.

I made a huge bridal rookie mistake of purchasing my veil VIA PREOWNEDWEDDINGDRESSES before I received my dress. The impulse? It was posted on sale for $25!
A lace trimmed, pearl detailed, cathedral veil for $25!!! Can you believe it?? There was one detail I overlooked as I clicked BUY! The color.
When I tried on my veil with my dress, it straight up looked YELLOW next to my diamond white dress.

When my dear friend Miss J told me she was considering shooting her engagement shoot around noon, I quickly told her the CONS of shooting at that time of the day.
- The sun is at it’s highest point, so your nose can create a funky shadow on your face.
- You will get lots of squinty photos.
Catch the magic hour! is what I screamed at her.
PROS: (MAGIC HOUR is the 1 hour right before sunset.)
- The sun won’t hit you directly so you won’t get squinty photos or weird shadows.
- The soft glow of sun light gives a beautiful effect.
- You’ll get a few daytime photos, sunset photos & evening photos.

My friend and I like to relax at a spa every now and then, whenever we see Groupon or Lifebooker deals. But the last couple times we went, we ended up at some ghetto place where they hurt you more than anything! They say it’s a “Swedish massage” when you book, but when you show up, they say “it’s like a Swedish massage.” I do not enjoy that “no pain no gain” method of massaging. I would even pay money for someone to stroke me gently until I fall asleep… or have someone play with my hair!
I found a Lifebooker deal and decided to give Jeunesse Spa a chance to give me a REAL Swedish massage!

I kept hearing about this “UV nail” process among brides so I thought I’d give it a shot myself! At first I though it was the same thing as a regular manicure because I remember sticking my nails through those UV drying machines in the end.
BUT.. the UV nail process is completely different than a regular manicure! They have a different line of nail color polishes, so you can’t select the regular colors. Luckily, the salon I went to still uses the OPI brand for their UV nail colors!
