Most Asian women complain about not having a butt. I have too MUCH BUTT. Well along with a butt comes love handles and the thunder thighs…but I honestly take all those over having no butt! I can enjoy having a big butt and I’m glad to fill my jeans…even when the fat runneth over.

I saw a girl at a dance class that literally had NO butt. It’s like her back went straight into her legs. I pointed it out to the hubs and even he was like “wow!! that is really gross.” (Aren’t I a nice wife to ask my husband to check out other women? hehe)

Here are some tips for girls with too much booty! First off… don’t wear THESE:

Poofy ruched skirts

It’s such a cute look, but you’re already drawing way too much attention to the booty area! You want to evenly spread the attention everywhere ya know? This would be ideal for gals with little or no butts. You can rock your skinnier thighs and it would create the illusion of having a butt.

Here’s another item that I wish I could get away with:

Daisy dukes

Eek… I’m sure we’ve all seen those “big” ladies wearing shorts and you know exactly what it does. It rides up the crack of the butt making it look like you have the biggest (and most painful) wedgie ever!!  No one wants to see that! I’m sure we all want to have that adorable Jessica Simpson “Dukes of Hazard” look, but the ladies with the big butts may want to sit this one out. *Pun intended.  Unless you got killer abs and are not self conscious about your thighs, I would suggest these instead:

Longer jean shorts with heels

I love this look! Women with butts should try to always wear heels in general. I think it really looks smokin’ when a lady has curves and rocks heels.

I also LOVE this look, because if you are REALLY wanting to flaunt short shorts, you can! (It’s actually universal for big, small or medium butts!) You can get away with it because the tights draw attention away from “thunder thighs” and it will also prevent the wedgie.

Shorts with tights and heels or boots

I would also advise to follow a celebrity that has a similar body type to yours and just follow their fashion trends! After all, since their job is to look HOT, they probably hired the most fabulous of all stylists to choose their outfits. Why not mooch off of them?

My old favorite big booty lady used to be JLo:

JLo & her famous booty!

But now its Gloria Delgado-Prichitt! She’s like a new Catherine Zeta Jones but more exotic and FUNNY!

Ironically, Claire from Modern Family has NO BUTT. Look how weird it looks!

Also, I love Christina Hendricks! She’s ULTRA CURVEY!!!!!

Joan from Mad Men

I always choose curves over the supermodel skinny look. =) What about you guys?

    1. I’m jealous! Unlike most Asians I’m pretty curvy, but only top-curvy. My butt is flat (no matter how much squats I do) and I have the hips of a 9-year-old boy. However, pregnancy has made my hips a bit wider (the bones in the pelvis slowly spread to prepare for delivery) and while most women wear belts, etc after birth to shrink their hips again, I definitely won’t be doing that — I actually have some hips now!

    5. Strappy sandals – Most of these sandals have a lot of straps with a peep toe and open back, making a really open sandal – well suited for the rather hot days and balmy evenings in the middle of Summer.
