Why do I need to win this prize? Because I love emphasizing my eyes but when I do it I end up looking like Cleopatra and that isn’t what I want to look like everyday. The only time my eye makeup looked amazing was when the JAC team handled it!

wow what a treat! nice J!

I would love to win this prize!! I have always wanted lessons on how to apply makeup. I have had similar experiences of raccoon or bruised looking eyes at Sephora and other make up stores. Not only are there a lack of Asian women at these make up stores, I have monolids which makes it difficult for the consultants to make anything work w/ my eyes. It’s quite frustrating because I can’t figure out how to do it myself so it would be really great to learn how to play up my eyes w/o looking scary! My daily makeup regimen is pretty basic but it would be great to learn how to be a little more creative w/ colors and different products.

so many reasons–1) i have given up on trying to put on false lashes 2) i could use help with eyeliner, esp with the oily lids and undereye problem 3) i would love to learn more about different eye shadow looks like smokey eye and natural 4)i get to hang out with J…woo hoo! 5) i love winning contests!! PS I’ll be in Ecuador when the contest closes. good luck everyone :)

I’m in my late 20s and my make-up bag is filled with just the free samples I got (and the one eyeshadow they talked me into buying) when I bought face lotion three years ago, which I’m still using. I missed the bandwagon ages ago and I need to learn how to look more professional and more my age. Or close enough that I stop getting carded at the grocery store. For Mike’s Hard Lemonade. =/

      Hi Jina,

Thanks for having this contest! I would love to win the prize for two main reasons:

      - First reason: I LOVE make up and would really appreciate the opportunity to learn from a professional makeup artist, especially after seeing how amazing you made my sister and mom look at my sister’s wedding (Sarah & Stephen). I learned how to do my make up from continuously watching YouTube videos, but I feel like there’s so much more I would like to learn in terms of application methods and technique that would make a noticeable difference. Some areas of weakness/topics of interest include filling in my sparse eyebrows, contouring/highlighting, applying foundation to achieve the glowy, dewy look that Korean women have, matching eyeshadow colors with different outfits, mastering different types of eyeshadow techniques (natural, smokey, dramatics, beachy/bronzy look) and etc.

      - Second reason: I think I would really I enjoy the skincare part of the prize. I try to eat healthy and take care of myself because I know it has a profound effect on skin. As a matter of fact, I recently read a book titled “The Wrinkle Cure: Unlock the Power of Cosmeceuticals for Supple, Youthful Skin” by Perricone. Discovering the power/benefits of vitamins and antioxidants on skin and health is beauty from the inside out. : ) Helpful tips from you would be a great addition!

      Have a great day! : )

      Hi there,
My name is Kay, early 30s girl who live in NYC.
This contest will be save my life & the earth
      because…

      Reason#1:
I have average flat Asian face; rounded face line, little too much cheek bone, smooth & undefined nose line, thin eyelid, long but straight eye lash…

I believe the best solution for my face is to learn how to make-up, but not plastic surgery, trust me!

      Reason#2:
I already have many beauty products what Jacbeauty recommended before; Benefit Lip tint, Mac strobe cream, Two Faced Eyeshadow, Maybelline Jell eyeliner…
      but H.O.W?
I need to know how to use them well and that will save my money & time in the future. (and then I don’t need to buy thousand eyeliners from all companies = save the earth, yeah!)
