Spring (or summer?!) is DEFINITELY here and we have been super busy with all the wedding planning and trials in the air! For our summer brides, here are some up-do’s that may interest you!

I know that for the most part, parents seem to like girls having their hair UP for weddings.  I think it’s because it looks more classic and clean cut. However, a large part of our brides are very down to earth and want those beautiful, loose curls for a casual down-do. If you’re in a pickle, here are some helpful reasons that may help convince you for an up-do for your wedding!

Reason 1: it does tend to be more classy and clean cut like your parents would want. This is the most formal occasion of your life! So it’ll look more appropriate for the formal occasion!

Reason 2: For you summer brides (and for sweat-ers) it will keep hair off your neck, so you won’t have to worry about strands of hair bothering your face all day.

Reason 3: For you people with extremely heavy, thick hair —- once you pin it up, you won’t have to worry about curls coming out or your volume falling flat. They are pinned tight and will look curled all day! (With the help of hairspray!)

Reason 4: It will give that classic, amazing look with the veil! It’s so easy to place too… just right above the bun (or for some people, right below the bun.)

Reason 5: A really nice trend right now is adding a large flower to the side of the bun.  You can also add jewels, or little flowers, or anything sparkly and feminine. =) It really just gives that extra “oomf” to your up-do!
