There have been a lot of failed attempts at trying to lose weight this year xP. But as I am at the 6 months mark, I have diligently been caring for my skin.
Here are some beauty countdowns to your special day.
The “HOW TO BE A BEAUTIFUL BRIDE” guide.
Countdown guide from TOTALBEAUTY.
1 year before your wedding:
- Fix teeth imperfections. Whether it’s getting braces or start whitening treatments.
Lande has the whitest teeth I’ve ever seen! She started using those teeth whitening strips for a few months before her wedding and she had one of the most perfect smiles.
- Start your workout regimen. A great way to work out at home without breaking the bank is through YOUTUBE!
Here is a weight loss yoga (part 1) clip:
- Start thinking about how you want your makeup & hair. Stop by your local department store and test out different eyeshadow colors to see what works best for your skin tone. This is a great way to use your trial time with your makeup artist wisely. You don’t want to spend hours with your makeup artist trying out colors that doesn’t work for you.
3 months before your wedding:
- Get a trim. You want enough time to grow out your hair in case you’re not terribly in love with the cut.
- Get your hair colored or treated around this time.
- If possible, find an esthetician and start weekly facials. The very last facial should be scheduled 2 weeks before your wedding.
1 week before your wedding:
- Get your eyebrows shaped
- Get your bikini wax done a week before. Allow yourself to heal and recover.
1 day before your wedding:
- Mani/pedi
- Do not drink alcohol the night before. Alcohol will dehydrate you and it will be written all over your face.
- Drink lots of water
- Take a tylenol pm to have a good night’s sleep. Wedding jitters seem to attack all brides.
I’m at my 6 month mark and I’ve failed at all of these
*SIGH* I’m re-starting DAY 1 of my 30 day shred tomorrow. Wish me luck!
