Curls last longer when curled on dirty hair.

MYTH -  Who is the fool who started this ugly rumor?!

Yes, it is true that you can’t curl wet hair and it won’t last long. But it’s also hard to curl oily hair and oily hair won’t last long either.

Here are some tips to prep you for your styling!

- Wash your hair the night before or if you’re like me and MUST wash your hair in the mornings, make sure you dry it to a crisp before styling

- If you absolutely don’t have a chance to wash it the night before matte-ify your hair.

Here are some looks that are “IN” for this summer!

- Big, loose, beach waves. The beach bum hair looks dirty but the mess will last longer on clean hair.

- High ponytails

- Ballerina bun. Ever since the winter Olympics, it seems as though the ballerina bun has made a huge come back.

The ballerina bun is what I’ve been sporting around these days because of the length of my hair. Even when I put it up into a high ponytail, it still gets in the way. Especially when I’m sitting back against a seat. Getting into a car is the worst! I’ve closed the door on my hair many times
