Ever since I started DRUGSTORE THURSDAYS, I have been finding great drugstore products. Some are comparable to big name brands, if not, surprisingly better.
Here is this week’s D.T.
It’s listed online for about $8 – $10 but I scored mine at WALMART for $5.99! At a fraction of the price of the name brands, I really didn’t expect much. But it’s definitely WAY better than them all!
- Color is super intense
- Long lasting
- Does not run, smudge, smear, crease (I used this as an eyeliner and also a base for smokey eyes. It outlasted as a base without creasing.)
It comes in 4 colors. (Black, gray, purple & brown)
The gel liner comes with a brush that is flat & domed so that you can create a wide variety of lines. You can create a super thin line and a thick for the dramatic look.

I’ve even tested this eyeliner along my waterline & tightline and it does not move at all.
SCORE: A+
Good job MAYBELLINE!

ooh.. i’ve been wanting to try this. the old maybelline liner used to be my favorite before they discontinued it (before i got to stock up!) =(
<3
maybe this will become my new fave? come to jersey so i can try yours, jina!
Everyone keeps telling me about Wet N Wild Gel Liner!!! You should try that one next!
IRENE – OMG! This eyeliner is CRAZY DIESEL!! Not even GEMBEAUTY can get it!!
KRISTEN – OOo!! Thanks for the heads up!
Jina–which was better for anti-smudge…this or L’Oreal HIP Kohl?
They are both great for anti-smudge but they are very different from each other.
This one is gel based so you get that super intense line.
The kohl is pigment form so it creates a softer line. When using the kohl, you have to be super careful of fall outs (which will make it look like a smudge. but if you carefully dust it off, you get the clean look.)
Used together, you get an amazing, long lasting line!
