It’s been exactly 1 week since my eyelash extension experience with Eyelash NY. I would have to say that it’s been a completely different experience than my Wink Eyelash experience! Some of the differences in my opinion….

Fake Hair extensions:

- since the fake hair eyelashes are way more dramatic, it sticks out more individually and looks very separated

- the volume is really intense! and MAN does it look weird when I close my eyes! You can see crazy chunks.

Silk Eyelash extensions:

- seem softer and easier to sleep in (although you’ll wake up with a few lashes on your pillow!)
- seems to fall out more easily and is more affected by steam, humidity and creams

Overall, the fake hair eyelashes seem to have almost the same effect as the silk ones. But I do think I prefer silk because it seems more fluffy and feathery. The heavy-ness of the fake hair seems to shift my eyelash weight around so you can see weird levels of lashes.

I think I will be saying farewell to the lovely world of eyelash extensions… it’s just too much work to comb and Q-tip my way to long lashes.  Perming and mascara might be the way to go! In addition to the fact that the hairs poke and itch way too much, I just really miss rubbing my eyeballs!
