I chopped off about 6 inches off my hair on my birthday. I was hating my hairstyle and couldn’t stand my terrible cut that I had gotten awhile ago at Alfangi Salon in NY. Can you believe that a bad haircut would last that long? It kept growing out to be weirder & weirder!
A few things new things that I experienced at the Butterfly Studio Salon:
- the stylist made me stand up straight so she could properly fix my haircut
- the stylist asked me to un-cross my legs while she cut my hair… imagine the tiny details you would never think about!
- even though this is super inconvenient, my stylist said it’s best to towel dry your hair after shampooing so that you can put your conditioner in your hair while it’s dryer. This way, the conditioner is being used to the max without being watered down with… er… water! =)
On a funny note, I feel like my new haircut looks like Detective Olivia Benson’s hair style from Law & Order (which I’ve been watching a LOT of lately…)
