I don’t know the proper way to apply nail polish let alone make it last longer than a day (in my case) << they literally start chipping within a couple of days >>

Here’s a cool trick from Tiffany.

All you need are the following:

I’m totally kidding!!! and if you watched the video before reading the whole post, you would know~

- I don’t know how to shape my nails with a nail file

- I don’t know how to push my cuticle back (it hurts!)

All I know how to do is cut my nail close enough so it’s not bleeding. So a manicure set like that is quite intimidating!

I love that Tiffany shows one simple step to making nail polish last and all you need is:

Nail Buffer

I got mine at Duane Reade for 99 cents.

No top coat, base coat, UV coat necessary. Just a few swipes of nail polish.

Do you have any nail polish tips for this noob?

    1. Uhm, I tried this tip last week, and it TOTALLY works! My home manicures rarely go more than 2 days before the dreaded chips start showing up. Mine lasted 5 days before I saw any chips!

I’m also a germ-o-phob so I’m constantly washing, purell-ing my hands. But buffering helps lasts through all that! I’m glad it helped~~
