It might be because it’s timeless and classic. But the more I look through bridal magazines and browse makeup inspiration boards, I keep reverting back to that clean bridal look. The “natural but made up” look. Koreans are experts at really GETTING it. I mean look at Hong Su Hyun in her InStyle Korea bridal shoot! Absolutely gorgeous!

Makeup Artist, Jung Sae Mool is notorious for her subtle changes. Her “natural but made up” look.

It’s made me rely on this palette for that look.

Too Faced – Natural Eye Kit – $34

This mini kit comes with a dual sided applicator (sponge tip and angle brush) and direction cards.

1) Day

2) Classic

3) Fashion

Honestly, I bought the kit and didn’t even realize that it had the 3 direction cards till after a few months, one of my client’s pulled it out from under the cover. Because of the way my eye is shaped, I can’t even follow those instructions anyways!

Here is a swatch.

As you can tell from the swatch, the colors are highly pigmented. The combination of matte & shimmery shadows really compliment each other.

CONS:
- The packaging is bulky so it’s not friendly to stuff in your purse and carry it around.
- Doesn’t have a mirror
- The shimmery colors fall out when applied with a fluffy brush.

But that’s really the only CONS that I can come up with.

- As long as you use a good base the color pretty much stays on all day without having to touch up.
– So you won’t need to carry it around in your purse.
- As long as you use a dense stiff brush and pack it on in a dabbing motion, the fall outs can be prevented…

So really overall, I’m 100% happy with this kit and would highly recommend it for an everyday look to a girl’s night out to a bridal look.

Also, if you think about it … $34 for 9 colors breaks the price down to $3.78 per color. So the price isn’t to hefty.
