Lavendar waxing…. heard of it? It’s supposed to be the most painless type of waxing there is and is recommended for bikini/brazilians. I still like getting waxed even during the winter, especially because they make your hairs grow thinner and grow slower. I found that Hampton Spa is right around the corner for me, and also got 5 stars on Citysearch!

The results? I loved it! It’s not PAINLESS, obviously… but it is better than regular strip waxing. The wax basically cools into a gel and they rip off the entire thing when it becomes solid (instead of using strips of cloth.)  Supposedly this style is less irritating for the skin!

The wax at Hampton Spa was about $52, so it was about $62 including tip. That’s pretty decent for NY, I think… although I still can’t get used to it because LA brazilians cost about $35!   I would recommend this style for people who think waxing is extremely painful though! Like me!!
