If only it was the cute fluffy blue, I think I can manage detox. BUT, oh BOY!

monsters_inc

It might’ve been the combination of PMS and being HANGRY (angry resulting from being hungry = hangry), but detox was hard!

I chose to go with BLUE PRINT CLEANSE and only did the 3 day fast because it is quite expensive. I chose BPC because not only are the ingredients used super fresh but I know people who have tried it and it worked wonders for them.

Now, why did I want to? BECAUSE tomorrow starts my holiday potlucks every week, sometimes twice a week till Christmas!

Check out the BLUE PRINT CLEANSE website to find out how it works and what it’s mission is. (and all the other details)!

But basically, all you’re doing is drinking your meal. There are 6 drinks per day and you just drink it throughout your day.

My Renovation Menu:

1. Green Juice – (comment: tastes like grass .. meh!)

2. Pineapple, Apple, Mint – (comment: it’s so refreshing, it kinda leaves you wanting more)

3. Green Juice – (comment: by now, the hunger kicks in and you start counting down till your next drink)

4. Spicy Lemonade – (comment: just like a lemonade with a bit of a kick in the back of your throat. This one kinda kills the cravings)

5. Carrot, Apple, Ginger, Lemon, Beet – (comment: this one was really hard to keep down especially because I HATE CARROTS.)

6. Cashew Nut Milk – (comment: THIS WAS HEAVEN! It was savory and sweetly delicious!)

and now here are 3 (kinda annoying girls) giving a perfect explaination of what the juice diet is.

      Hello ~~
Wow you are so brave for going through with the cleanse. I always attempt the first day and give up because I don’t have the willpower to stay away from food.

I don’t know if you’ve tried this before, but you might want to look at probiotics. I’ve always had difficulty with my digestion and losing weight. I’ve gone on diets where I try to only eat raw foods or subway. But when I stopped going on temporary diets, and started taking a probiotic supplement, I was able to stomach fatty foods or carbs like white rice that I had difficulty digesting, and coincidentally lost 13.5 pounds! (wow, i must sound like an ad.. lol) Just thought i’d let you know :)

Eunice! This is really good information for me! Do you suggest a particular brand?

    3. Eunice says:

      Hey Jina,

Yeah, the one I’m taking in particular is called Align. It’s at a pretty hefty price. I think $30 for 28 capsules (4 week supply) but try goinn to costoc! It’s $50 for 49 capsules (7 week supply). :) I’ve stopped taking anything else (fiber or laxatives for cleansing, han yak (the herbal medicine for like $100’s)) I hope it goes well for you too if you ever try it!
