“oh no… what did I just do?”
I spent a lot at Fresh. I didn’t have a clue just HOW expensive Fresh was! I mean yes, I bought their $16 chapstick (which still works great) but MAN… I had no clue I was going to spend this much on face cream:

Hairspray + Mousse = spray mousse!!
I love both hairspray and mousse but for totally different reasons. Hairspray can be good for a quick fix or to make something clean and smooth, but mousse can be great for people with curly hair!
how does it work?

To be honest, Halloween is one of my least favorite holidays. I still like it—but it’s not my FAVORITE =) And the reason is… it’s sooo expensive! You have to find a costume, but in order to find a GREAT costume you have to spend so much on cheap pieces of fabric that you will never wear again. Also, you have to find some fabulous party or even to wear the expensive costume to, and that usually includes a ridiculous cover fee. I’m all about house parties, but do people even do those anymore??
Anyways, I know that Halloween in New York is supposed to be crazy—but the CRAZIEST Halloween I’ve ever witnessed was in Santa Barbara:

The name of this salon caught my attention… Studio DNA?? How cool. =)
I first saw it on my friend’s facebook, but when I went to the review section of Yelp, I was shocked to see almost 5 perfect stars out of 117 reviews! Just scrolling through the website, it really just seems like they are the chill, knowledgeable type of salon that I would love to go to. Funny and down to earth, yet chic but not snobby. (I REALLY dislike snobby salons!) However, this looks like it may be that type of “training” salon, but you get to pick the level of your person. There are 3 levels before the owner, but you pick what price/level of person you’d like.

ANTM is my guilty pleasure show!! I admit it, but I promise I really am interested more in the amazing hair/makeup and the PHOTOGRAPHS! I love seeing the amazing transformation!
I’m sure we’ve all felt hopeful whenever we see that there is a new Asian girl on the show. However, they have not really been quite what I would have wanted to represent “our people.”
Let’s start with the first Asian girl that I can remember, from Season 2, April:
