Do you ever get the comment “OMG you look EXACTLY like ____!”??? I get it ALL THE TIME!  I wonder what it is about me, but I always look like someone’s friend or co-worker or something.   I know that going to a mainly Caucasian school made me look like every Asian celebrity there was. Uhh TRUST ME, I do NOT look like Lucy Liu or Michelle Kwan— and I got those two all the time!

But I do admit that I can see why people think I look like Kimora Lee Simmons:

I think we have very similar face shapes and cheekbones.  Our cheek and forehead ratio is pretty much about the same. The great thing about having similar features to any celeb is that you can copy whatever they do to their face when it comes to makeup!  Basically, they’ve done all the research for you because their jobs depend on it.  So study them, do your homework and find out what look looks best on them and use them for yourself!  Even if you don’t look EXACTLY like them, just copy whatever part of their face that works for them.  If someone has ever made a comment that you look like someone famous, chances are that they’ve had professional help to look that way!

For example, I noticed that Kimora always has on pink blush, or SOMETHING very visible on her cheeks.  Going back to my post about apple cheeks, I think she uses her flushed cheeks to her advantage to bring this healthy glow.
