One of my biggest pet peeve (in terms of makeup), is when the foundation looks caked on.
Meeting different skin types, I’ve learned a few ways of creating the flawless look. But never did I play with airbrush. I had gotten a really bad makeover once which involved airbrushing and let me just say, the picture above barely describes my experience. Word has it that there are very few artists who can airbrush or at least, do it well.
Till SEPHORA started taunting me with THIS.
When I hear AIRBRUSHED makeup, I automatically think of perfect skin.
Which TEMPTU seems to promise,
| new . only at sephora TEMPTU® AIRbrush Makeup System, $225
AIRbrush system No Brushes Needed Professional Grade Control Natural Finish Extremely Hygienic and Clean
AIR pod™ foundation Perfectly Blended Application Four Brushes In One Natural Finish |

I would hardly recommend this to anyone who is looking for an everyday foundation. It is quite costly. ($225 (for the compressor) + $55 (for foundation capsule))
But the more I look to refill my kit cost efficiently, I realize how airbrush can be my solution.
- I wouldn’t be wasting product (by using a sponge or brush)
- There would be no waste (because I wouldn’t be disposing sponges) – (we’re all about going green)
I’m still going back & forth about getting it. As an artist, I will need at least a range of 4 to 5 colors which will easily cost $500 up front if I decide to get TEMPTU. The only thing about TEMPTU is that it comes with a capsule refill VS a pour. Like the OCC brand.
Does anyone have any recommendations? I really need to start refilling my kit and start stocking up.~

I’ve never tried the temptu airbrush system, though it does look very interesting. I think that if the foundation really does create a flawless-looking skin, then it is totally worth it in the long run
SEPHORA has the TEMPTU out on display to play around with~ you should check it out. I was pretty impressed … so tempted~
If you are a makeup artist I would not recommend this system. This is for more commercial use. An artist must but the colors for many different shades, so a traditional airbrush machine would be your best bet because you could mix colors. I own the OCC airbrush system kit #1, and it is AMAZING. For the cost of $350 dollars, you recieve the Air gun, the compressor, 12 Skin Foundation Shades, 12 x Skin Blush & Highlighters,
6 Skin Primary Adjusters and 1 Skin Primer.
