So I’ve been getting issues of InStyle for free for the last few weeks! I’ve been enjoying them and sometimes pick up on their tips. I especially love the tips on where to go for cuts, coloring and brows all across the states.
Once in a blue moon, I like to treat myself to ONE amazing salon experience. Just for that one moment, I wonder if rich people really do have it best. =) Whether it’s a really nice haircut, wax job, massage or whatever—just in that one moment I actually feel slightly princess-like. I think it really does something emotionally to feel like that. (but again, ONCE in a blue moon!) I wonder if I get used to it too much, if it’d even be that special?

haha great post
Too bad I live in Canada! ):
I once got $300 hair cut and was SO disappointed that it didn’t look WORLDS better than my $50 haircut at my fav salon! I mean yeah, I got a cup of tea while I waited but in the end, I was embarrassed to tell people how much I spent on it!
@ June: that totally sucks! Yeah even though it’s expensive it doesn’t necessarily mean it’s going to be a quality service. I’ve done that too with spas– so don’t feel bad! You just learn that next time you don’t go there… Use Yelp! =)
