Eyelash Extension Experience Part I

So after I interviewed the owners of Wink Eyelash, I decided to go ahead and try out the process—-all for the sake of this blog!!! =)

Beautiful rooms and beds that were all special made for the process!

Wink really convinced me that there are a lot of great reasons to try eyelash extensions: save $$ on buying eyeliner, eyeshadow, mascara, saving time on curling your lashes, looking really nice without ANY makeup… Those were good enough reasons for me to try it out!

What’s a Digital Perm?

My lifeless, limp hair was in desperate need for a perm! I typically get a perm once or twice a year because my hair is super thin, but after awhile I decided that I can’t trust anyone in New York with my hair! I had to wait for almost a year to go all the way back to Cali!

A digital perm is different from other perms because it’s supposedly better for your hair. Each spiral has a cord attached to it that steams each curl for 20-30 minutes. My lady did a great job but OH MY GOSH, the entire process was FOUR HOURS LONG!! My butt was getting sore from sitting!

Yoga on the beach

This past weekend I went to my friend’s bachelorette party in California. We had a lot of fun horseback riding, eating and my favorite part—- doing YOGA right by the BEACH!

Queen of Magic refuses HEAT!

I am proud to say that my hair has gotten crazy long (about 6 inches shy of my arse) and it does not have any split ends. Considering all that it’s been through this year.

- Bleach blonde-ed

- Dye-ed back black

- Brazilian Keratin-ed

should be damaged and frayed at the ends but it's extraordinarily healthy

HD Makeup

The VMA’s displayed a wide variety of makeup looks. What amazed me most is that even with all those spot lights and camera lights, all the stars’ makeup looked so flawless!

Especially because it is LIVE television and there’s no such thing as CG or retouching, it just had me sitting there going BUH-NA-NA’s over the makeup.
