God made me hairy to keep me warm in the winters..(no gagging please
)
I mean .. I’m not
but, I think my body temperature is a little bit higher than the average human because of my peach fuzz << cuter than hairy arms >>~
So I’m very familiar with products like:
and the many hot wax brands out there. For me, waxing is just too messy (unless it’s done properly at a salon). Though they have evolved into the convenient strip type, I’m still not a fan of waxing DIY (Do It Yourself).
I love the convenience of the “CHEMICALLY MELT AWAY HAIR” creams like NAIR & VEET. However, they come with consequences. But 1st the
PROS – you can spread cream over arms / legs and let it sit for 4 min and hop in the shower to wipe away.
If left on too long …
CONS – smells like janitorial cleaning solutions even if it’s labeled “NEW SCENT – RASPBERRY”. If you have really sensitive skin, the cream eats away at your skin. You should NEVER use it on your face …even if it’s made specifically for your “sensitive areas”.
OVERALL: I would use VEET over NAIR because it seems a lot more “gentle”. (I write OPEN QUOTE gentle END QUOTE because it’s no where near gentle. It’s just in comparison to each other.) AND I try not to use it more than once a month or for super special occasions like weddings where I’m wearing a sleeveless dress.
As for my legs, I prefer the good old fashion razor and shaving cream. If I don’t have
then instead of soap, I’ll use a hair conditioner to prevent nicks.

i tried using veet and nair on my legs but i don’t think it works. i have very little hair and it’s barely visible but veet smelled so bad and my legs felt like it had a film of soap on it. i just shave instead
