also the reason why i love JAC is because i don’t have a lot of places i can go to get makeup advice since my features are different than most american girls, being that i’m asian. my eyes are a different shape and not to mention i don’t have a crease. so i find the tips so usual since the tips actually work on my korean eyes. thank you JAC!!!!!

haha the reason i love JAC beauty is because you guys give so much advice and update like daily, which is great. You also make videos, so its easier for us to understand what you’re doing and such. You guys also cover almost everything from makeup to hair to skin care to sales. Really super helpful.

First, I really like that you post videos. That’s SO helpful compared to other sites that just post stills. I like to see something being done with commentary rather than just reading about how to do something.
For stuff to change, I’d say, when you’re in an individual blog post (not just clicking older entries, but actually clicking the link to that specific post.) there should be an easy way to get back to the home page (like make your header an active link back to home.) As well, the navigation tool bar to the side should still be accessible when you’ve clicked an individual post. There should be a place to subscribe via email, follow, do RSS something. As of right now, I don’t see any possible way to get daily updates. I see there’s a bar at the bottom but that should be at the top so it’s really visible. You want subscribers to be able to easily find a way to give you their information. I HIGHLY suggest reading the free articles on http://www.psychotactics.com/ There is WAY more information about how to get more readers to your blog and designing it than I can write in a comment.
Just to let you know, I think the “Tip of the day” is a completely fabulous idea. You have a great blog and with a few simple tweaks, I think you’ll have an even better blog.

Ok what I like about this blog: I really like text posts, so you can read them at work, it delivers information quicker. Reading a text is easier and faster than watching a video. Of course, tutorials are best in video form so you can see every single step and technique. Also, it adds a personal touch.
So my preference: video posts for tutorials, text posts for beauty tips etc
And I would really like to subscrive via e-mail to get daily updates from you guys. It´s awesome to read a blog post every day!
@jina maybe you guys could have sep sections for videos and blogs? like have your blog set up normally and then have a link for the matching video? so those at work don’t have a big youtube screen, but those of us who can watch while we work can just click on the link and it takes us to the matching vid?

I think JAC beauty is different because I think it is “pointed” to asian women more. I like JAC beauty because its helpful and more interesting to read than other blogs.
For changing the site, maybe a title or banner on the top of the site page. (the blue thing). Perhaps, a background or layout. Otherwise, the site is perfect(= Hope this helps!
I found JAC beauty from xanga and since then, i’ve really loved your tutorials!
you thoroughly explain WHY you’re doing what you’re doing (ex.: explaining that highlighting under the brow bone accentuates the arch of your eyebrow)
i don’t think there’s anything you need to improve
i like how your tutorials don’t seem like you’re trying to be a super professional and that you don’t dub your tutorials (i think that’s pretty weird haha, even though i admire users like ricebunny!) thankyou!

first, i love JACbeauty because you have soo many helpful tips and tricks that actually work. other sites and youtubers dont have those tips so i really like that. also i love the blog posts because theyre interesting to read and i learn so much about skincare and makeup. i love that you post videos because it actually shows your viewers how to do what your trying to do, and how the result could look. plus, your unlike other blogs about makeup because you branch out more to skincare and stuff rather than just applying makeup, and you teach us how to apply rather than just telling us.
i dont really think theres anything to improve on except just keep making more videos because i LOVE watching them!!1
