I love wearing tank tops, but I’m always insecure about the bumpy “chicken skin” on my arms! I’ve had it all my life and I absolutely hate it! I’ve even gone to dermatologists and they tell me that it’s genetic and that I should try some scrubs or moisturizer. Too bad you can’t pop a pill to just make them go away forever!
Here are some remedies I’ve found to help lessen the bumpy-ness. Unfortunately, the redness and the bumps are still there. But I think they have definitely gotten better!
What it is: A dermatologist recommended dry skin remedy that helps control keratosis pilaris (a common skin disorder typified by “chicken skin” or bumpiness on the surface of the skin) and other dry skin concerns.
What it is formulated to do: By incorporating medically proven ingredients to hydrate and maintain healthy skin and potent levels of glycolic acid blended with urea (the dermatologist recommended humectant) this highly effective treatment softens and smoothes away even the driest, roughest skin.
Upper arm skin treatment: Bumps got you down? Chicken skin or goose pimple syndrome can cause unsightly bumps on the upper arm area. instead of flying the coop, treat this age problem with a daily dose of philosophy’s chicken skin treatment lotion to help minimize their appearance.
H2O + Spa Exfoliating Sea Marine Body Wash: An exfoliating body purifier that helps eliminate dull, dry skin while cleansing. Reparative marine algae plus skin smoothing multi-hydroxy acids help eliminate dead surface skin and flakiness. Hydrating marine extracts, seagrass, cucumber extract and glycerin combine to soothe and soften.
I have personally found that Aveeno helps me the best to keep my arms moisturized. If you think about it, anything that is super soft & moisturized will make it less bumpy! With any of these products and lotion, it should help lessen the bumps.
If anyone has any other product they’ve used for this, please let me know!!

Just letting you know that you not the only one with that problem T_T!!!!!!! I have chicken skin too (but not much), I never used any specific product but I use aloe vera gels and creams. I think it works fine for my skin (^_^)!!!
