What’s a blayer? It’s a layer that acts like bangs. I learned this term from Kristyn who was giving me my free haircut off of Craigslist.
layer + bangs = Blayers
I love this look, especially for the wavy hair look. Short bangs are annoying because they’re always in my eyes, but blayers work because they’re long enough for me to pin back and stay pinned back.

I got suckered into buying 2 salon packages for $60 by a street man. I figured– hey, $30 per person isn’t so bad. I’ve wasted more money than that before! (Ok, that’s a really bad mentality) I thought this would make a great salon review, since the package came with a wash, haircut, color consultation, image consultation (whatever that meant) a facial and massage. The salon also looked beautiful from the pictures! Here’s the salon…

Here’s a very subtle but fantastic little trick those who like to wear eyeliner. I typically use the Bobby Brown gel eyeliner with a brush. If you put a layer of eyeliner under your eyelash line, where the fleshy part of your skin is, it will help define your eyes a bit better.
It may look a little scary in the video because you have to lift your eyelid a bit to help draw the line. We always do this to brides— I think it really helps to give your eye a little extra pop for pictures!

One part of this job that I love is being able to meet people in all sorts of fields. Miss S is a speech pathologist and I actually met up with her afterwards to help fix my husky voice! Awesome!

We all know that we need to moisturize our faces, but what about the rest of our bodies? I have very dry skin everywhere, so I actually put on lotion from head to toe after I take a shower. Don’t forget to moisturize your knees, elbows, knuckles and toes!!
