As an artist, I’m always looking for new tips, products, & trying to keep up with trends. So, a site like LOVELYISH that combines all that is beauty and fashion PLUS more makes it really easy for me to surf the latest trends all in a glance.

Which brought me to THIS POST.  D.o I.t Y.ourself eyelash extensions that last 4 – 6 weeks.

At the HI-FASHION expo (<< I promise this will be my last HI-FASHION insert hahahaha), I also came across ::: Xtreme Lashes

There was a technician that was doing “samples” of the eyelash extension. I immediately stood in line that wrapped around 1/2 way across the expo. Waited 2 hours, only to find out that the technician was only doing 1/2 of 1 eye. BOOO! Though, I love the idea of having longer lashes, I didn’t want to walk away incomplete.

Here are some facts about EYELASH EXTENSIONS:

1. They are individually glued onto your lashes.

2. Lasts up to 3 month, or till your lashes fall out (naturally).

3. Application price ranges from $100 – $300 (NYC Prices).

4. You must take good care of them. Water, mascara will lessen the “life-span” of the extension.

5. Only licensed cosmetologists / aestheticians are allowed to take courses to purchase extension kits. (which comes with application classes) – this gives me the peace of mind that the average Joe isn’t doing “semi-permanently” stuff near my eyes.

I’m personally too chicken to try anything that is remotely “permanent” near my eyes.

Has anyone ever tried EYELASH EXTENTIONS or EYELASH PERMING?
