“Good for the skin, bad for hair”

Today, I want to share some of my EYE LASH curling secrets.  NYC has been hit with a wave of humidity and it’s been driving my LASHES nuts and completely unmanageable. As you’ve seen in the other posts, I have been blessed with the Snuffleupagus.

Snuffleupagus - Eyelashes that grow down

Here are some of my tricks for my shades  T.T

1. Heat your conventional metal eyelash curler with a hair dryer for about 3 seconds before you curl
PROS: acts like a curling iron and is fast
CONS: unless you find a brand that fits the shape of your eye, it’s hard to get all of the hair in one crimp

shu uemura - eyelash curler @ Sephora for $19-$24

2. You can use a heated eyelash curler.
PROS: gives that naturally curly look without having random creases from a crimp that strayed
CONS: does not work well with thick lashes

Sephora brand - Heated eyelash curler - $16

3. After you curl and apply your mascara, use a blow dryer from below to dry your lashes upwards. This will help the mascara dry and keep the hold. Almost like hair gel.

   hi jina!!! ok i was distracted by your ring too! BEAUTIFUL but i will try this tip out today i am excited cuz my lashes grow out straight and down. though i am not blessed like your lashes – mine are relatively thin. i have the shu uemura curler but sad they don’t sell the extra pad thing, so i always buy a new curler.
