Who doesn’t like looking at “Before” and “After” pictures? They’re so fun because they give us hope in thinking “oooh I can be sooo ugly and still come out like that!”  And yes–you can!!  I don’t believe in big, goppy, clown makeup, but I do think that subtle concealers and longer lashes can be our friend.
Since I just came off from working with a photography studio in NYC, I took advantage of the situation by having a “Before” and “After” photoshoot with our interns.  I posted a random email, asking if any Asian American girl wanted to get her hair & makeup done for free.  And ta-da… this is how I met Miss A!

As you can see, she’s already really pretty but the transformation for makeup just accentuated her features.  Almost all the time, people think makeovers make you look like drag queens—but that’s not true! As long as it’s done right (and done to your comfort level) makeovers can do wonders….. Although sometimes, I think it would be fun to do makeup like a drag queen =) Volunteers anyone??

Here’s me putting the finishing touches to the Secret Weapon a.k.a. the Fake Lashes! I know I say in the end I wouldn’t use this for bridal, but I think I changed my mind. It looked great for all occasions!
