Especially mine! This past mother’s day, my parents wanted to go on a date alone rather than spend time with their children. So I wanted to get my mom dolled up.
MAKEUP:

Before

Phase 1 - primer, foundation, concealer
I used a stick foundation (which has a heavier consistency & coverage) and brushed on a compact powder for even more coverage.

Phaes 2 - eyes, eyebrows
My mom OBVIOUSLY has a major case of O.C.D!!!! (Overplucking Compulsive Disorder). Filling in her eyebrows already frames her face. For her eyes, I used MATTE (no shimmer) neutral colors because those colors suit older women better. Lighter on the inner corner and with the gradation technique, I blended in the darker toward the outer corner. Then I lined her eyes & put some mascara on.

Final Phase 4 - cheeks, lips
I used a peachy blush rather than a pink one. Because she is older, the pink looked a little not belonging on her face. For her lips, I used a sheer grape color by CLINIQUE.
HAIR: – simple chignon

simple chignon
and this is exactly why I love moms! You can really see what makeup can do to someone.~
to end this, I leave you with another reason why I love my mom … because she’s so silly! (my family doesn’t know how to take pictures)

we don't know how to take pictures . 1
