Sunshine = freckles = :(

At first I thought Asian American gals who had freckles was the cutest thing ever! But now that I’m getting splotches of it on my nose and upper cheeks I think it’s super annoying. It doesn’t give the smooth, clean and fresh look. It makes you look kind of scruffy, which is cute at 20/30 but not so much when they start getting darker in your 50’s. (Gotta think ahead ladies!)

I’ve been trying to wear sunblock EVERY single day ever since it got warm. I’ve been using this brand, and so far I love it!

5 Ways to Conserve your Makeup

In college, my 4 roommates and I had a guest bathroom where we all decided to also make our Makeup Bathroom. We put in all of our old eyeshadow colors and other things that we just don’t use anymore. Why? One woman’s old makeup is another woman’s new makeup! It worked pretty well and we were able to re-use some of our old makeup.

Well, I guess we can’t do that anymore because we live with boys now. But here are some tips we can use to conserve our makeup:

1.)A Frugal Foundation Trick
Natalie DeStefano, makeup artist at the Rita Hazan Salon in NYC, recommends wetting your makeup sponge slightly before you dip it into your foundation. The dampness will cause the sponge to absorb less product, thus leaving more in the bottle.

2.)Squeeze More Swipes

Get a few more uses out of an almost-gone mascara by standing it in a glass of warm water or heating it up with a hair dryer. Read More | Comments

Ice cube facial
